CHINA BEAR RESCUE SUPPORT GROUP SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Anthony is a Patron of China Bear Rescue Support Group, South Gloucestershire, in aid of the Animals Asia Foundation.

The group have already raised the sum of £5000 to adopt their own Moon Bear called Abby.

2009 MOON BEAR RESCUE CALENDAR ORDER INFO.

Asiatic Black Bears, imprisoned for up to 22 years in tiny metal cages no bigger than their own bodies. Known as Moon Bears because of the beautiful golden crescents on their chests, these bears are milked daily for their bile through rusting metal catheters implanted deep into their gallbladders. The bears live a life of torture before dying agonisingly slowly as a result of chronic infection.

2009 Moon Bear Rescue Calendar

Animals Asia have announced the 2009 calendar! A beautiful collection of 12 full-colour A4 images that inspire, celebrate and show just how far their supporters have helped give their beautiful Moon Bears a new life! Each month highlights one (or two) bears and includes a short, touching message about the uniqueness of each of these wonderful, forgiving individuals.
