Oh no I totally missed this! It looks like it was a lot of fun though! I’ll definitely be up to watching manhood next time!
Manhood? Is that a Freudian slip?

6th March 2016 at 12:27 AM #1068So – was that really Igraine? I mean, really the real one? Would she have said all those things? Does she blame Uther? This makes me sad… He didn’t know who’s life would be sacrificed, did he?
I always looked at it as Morgause using a dark spell to bring forth a fake vision of Ygraine that she wanted Arthur to see and talk to – So she could get Arthur to react the way she wanted him to. She needed to get Arthur angry so he would go after and kill his father. I just don’t see Ygraine helping Morgause to destroy her child. I think she would have found away to warn Uther of Morgause’s intentions. Because had Arthur killed his father. It would have destroyed him no matter how angry at him he was. Which brings this up. I so would have loved to have seen an episode where Uther and Ygraine interacted with each other and have had a conversation about Arthur’s birth and her death due to the use of magic and seen what his/her reaction was.
Yeah, that’s basically what Merlin said in the end, and personally I believe it, except… Colin’s acting and in fact the dvd commentary imply that he was lying when he said it.
I don’t know, I don’t even care that much what Uther did or didn’t do, or how much of a hypocrite he is, or if he caused her death consciously or unwittingly - what I care about is how Ygraine feels about it. I just can’t bear the thought that she actually holds a grudge against him. I mean I realise that she has every right to, but still… If she doesn’t still love him, then literally nobody does (apart from Arthur, but that’s a different kind of love). Uther may be unlovable, but I don’t want him to be unloved… (Why yes, I am a sentimental idiot)

5th March 2016 at 7:45 PM #1049It’s such a good confrontation scene from both those guys
It’s fantastic.
5th March 2016 at 7:44 PM #1048I don’t think Uther realized completely the consequences of using that kind of magic.
Or that could be me trying to make Uther a better person than he is.
I think we might all be trying to do that…

5th March 2016 at 7:32 PM #1042This is harder than I thought it would be to keep up a running conversation in the forum.
It’s not that bad
It does not really work for realtime conversation. So much refreshing and scrolling.
